British Farming Awards - silver for ag student of the year

Recent graduate Matthew Rollason took silver in the Student of the Year category at the recent British Farming Awards.
Matt, who is now in Canada as a Harper Adams scholar at the 28th Commonwealth Agriculture Conference, organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, said:
"I am so incredibly proud to receive Silver in such a high calibre category at the 2018 British Farming Awards. This is a huge personal milestone for me, and proves that anybody can succeed in agriculture, regardless of their barriers or background. I sincerely hope this award encourages other young people to pursue their career ambitions and seize the endless opportunities modern agriculture has to offer."
